All Things Needful Hath Been...

Hey people! Welcome again. I haven't written anything in a while (hey, its just a few days!) because I travelled out of town on some official duties. I had to visit Abuja, Kaduna and Kano, all in Northern Nigeria to do some stuff for my company. Well, the trip was nice; pretty eventful and challenging I must say. I got the opportunity to visit places I hadn't seen before, meet people I never knew and get stuff done too. And it was really amazing.

But as I went on the trip one thing struck me; everywhere I went to, there was always someone expecting me, ready to attend to me and see that my assignment in that place was fulfilled. I got to cities where I never knew anyone before and I wasn't at a loss of what to do. For example, as I approached Kaduna, I placed a call to the number that was given me as a contact person. Immediately, I got to the Kaduna office of the company I was headed to, she came out and welcomed me warmly. She immediately took me to haer boss who equally welcomed me as warmly, and, when he found that he was of yoruba extraction like myself, went on to further welcome me profusely in my language!

That made the job all the more easier to carry out and in no time I was done with all I needed to do in Kaduna and my job was done! I could head back home. I even had enough time on my hands, I was able to quickly step into an internet cafe and quickly check my mails since sadly, I do not yet possess a mobile phone that allows me to do all that on the go :(. Imagine what would have happened if I did not make the call to the number. I would have spent ages trying to get the same job done!

Looking back at all that, I cannot but help think about what God has done for us. He has given us this errand of running the race to the kingdom. But He has put all we need into place for us to help us finish that race to the end. Like all I needed to do was to place a call to the right person and I was gonna be in no trouble at all. Just as God has given us all we need to get to his kingdom. All we need to do is just try. He gave us His Son, to show us the way to Him; He gave us His spirit to "bring all things into remebrance" and comfort us in our walk to the kingdom. What more do we need.

All we need to do is A-S-K; Ask God.
